about me

Over the years, I have found that maintaining a balance in life means prioritizing mental health; for me, that looks like cold plunges, meditation, experiencing art, listening to music, and connecting with nature when I can, and for others, the list could look much different. Part of the healing work is also being curious about what allows us to hold onto and maintain the healing we have embraced in therapy. This is a second career for me, as my background prior to this role was in sales/marketing and I even owned a small business for several years. The journey to becoming a mental health counselor was one born from plumbing the depths of my own pain and seeking healing. This is a journey that I continue to walk every day.

I believe change takes time, and being gracious with oneself is key to maintaining change. My heart is bent towards those who are struggling. For some, this could look like learning new ways of coping in a neurotypical world instead of feeling depressed and isolated. For others, it might mean hanging up past comforts that have turned into compulsive behaviors or toxic addictive patterns. Whatever it looks like for you, I fully believe it begins with prioritizing your mental health.
